Step – I Register With IIA – UAE as Member
Visit this IIA UAE website and click “Register”.
Upon clicking “Register” a form will open. Fill the form, upload required documents (picture & passport) and pay the fee (AED 360) through credit card.
Upon submission of form you will receive confirmation email, user id and password. This user id and password you will use to access IIA Global website and CCMS. Upon receiving confirmation email you become IIA UAE member.
Step – II Create CCMS Login ID & Password
Next step is to create CCMS login id & password. CCMS stand for Candidate Certification Management System which means web portal used to access progress of CIA certification, payment of application fee, exam fee and communication with IIA Global.
You can access CCMS by clicking here. After that click “First Time Users”
After that you will see below page. Click and agree to accept terms and conditions.
Once terms and conditions are accept below window will open. Here you will put same email id with which you register with IIA UAE in User Name, Password, Email address and Verify Email Address. Moreover put same password which you received from IIA UAE while becoming their member.
Upon entering correct details you will below email confirming that CCMS New Account Activation is completed. Now you can access CCMS for further procedures.
Step – III Get Your Documents Verified From IIA
In order to become Certified Internal Auditor there are certain eligibility criterion which need to be fulfilled before appearing in exam. You can read our other blog post to get more information on CIA Exam Eligibility.
In this step you will upload below below documents on IIA Global website and clicking “Document Upload Portal”. Make sure you are already login before uploading document. Once documents are uploaded successfully you will receive below email to confirm that educational documents, character reference form and identification documents are approved.
Now you can pay your application fee and exam fee and check on you CCMS below screen. Congratulations!!! Now you can book your exams as CIA application is approved.
Step IV Visit Pearson VUE for CIA Exam Registration
For exam booking Pearson VUE website is required to be visited. Create account and use same candidate id as mentioned on CCMS.
Step V Book Your CIA Exam
Upon successful creation of account with Pearson VUE book you exam based upon available date and time. Once done you will receive below confirmation email from IIA that your exam is booked.
